I was happy to work over the weekend if it meant pulling and sending samples to Milan for Vogue Italia! As is the way with fashion, everything happens at the last minute…which meant I needed to get some dresses sent to the other side of the Atlantic within a only few days. After a few unusual shipping hiccups (mainly to do with Italian customs delays and a missing form, but I won’t go into that) the dresses made it to the shoot with only hours to spare. Fashion magazines always plan multiple looks for spreads even though they only photograph some of them. It comes down to what fits the model, the photographer’s vision and what the stylist chooses to work with. We were so glad to hear from Vogue that the dresses were used in the shoot!
