Dadadress in Paris

Having just returned from Paris and a visit to the Pompidou, I have been thinking about all the wonderful colors in the Josef Albers exhibit (which I did not know was on, but luckily just stumbled across!). His color studies and simple repeating patterns are putting me in the mood to use even more color in this upcoming collection.

80 studies in oil on cardboard by Josef Albers is presented in the Graphic Gallery at the Pompidou Centre in Paris..These paintings are preparatory works for the famous Homage to the Square cycle which the artist began the 1950s. The works were carried out in different colour ranges in from black to yellow through red, blue and green.
